Q1_Aircraft: Building from CD

Can I really build a Q1 from the CD's that are available on ebay? I am
experienced with composite construction, so my concern is things like
scaling up the template drawings with the required accuracy, available
engines that are as close as possible in weight and reliability as the
original Onan, ability to find a canopy and building the prefab metal
kit parts from scratch.
I am currently finishing a LongEz and am looking at the Q1 as a second
project. I plan to build the Q1 as close to the original as possible.
