Hello folks. I am about to fire the trigger on the purchase of a Q1. I am currently second in line to be offered to purchase the airplane. The airplane is listed in Barnstormers.
barnstormers.com/ad_detail.php?ID=446853
and also:
stargazer2006.online.fr/derivatives/superquickie.htm
However i've talked to the owner and he has not flown it since he acquired it (taxi testing and a few runs in the airstrip). I am a bit concerned about this as you guys can imagine. I am currently in Florida and the Airplane is in Topeka, KS so I cannot inspect it. There are no logs on the airplane either. Does anybody knows about this N4251F quickie? The airworthiness certificate was awarded back in 1982.

This group isn't too active if you are looking for an immediate response.
Please consider joining the Q-list on Yahoo! groups:

They seem to be much more active. I don't know much about this particular plane, but from what they've said on the other list it's been sitting out in the weather for a few years. This is not good for composite airframes due to corrosion and UV damage. Just something to consider.
I would have a qualified person have a look before purchase.
Hope this helps, please let me know.
Warm regards,

Flying an aeroplane with only a single propeller to keep you in the air. Can you imagine that?
