Pilots in my area was created by Sharpcf
Hello,
I'm new to the forums and new to quickies. I have been dreaming of owning one of these planes for a very long time. I am now considering buying one, and if all works out it maybe very soon.

I was hopeing that there may be someone in my area, or near me that owns or flies a quickie. I would like to get first hand from information, and just to visit with them on this plane.

Any information about someone local would be great.

Thanks,
Craig

Hi Craig,
Welcome to the forums. There is a builders list on the QBA website here:

quickiebuilders.org/Qbuild/qBuildList.asp

You'll notice that several of the builders listed are from Texas. (But I seem to remember from my geography class that Texas is a pretty big State!) LOL! So I'm not sure how many of the builders listed are near you, or if the list has been updated recently.

You might also consider joining the Q-list on Yahoo! and asking the question on there:

groups.yahoo.com/group/Q-LIST/

That list stays pretty active. Although I'm hoping that people will realize how cool the forums are here someday! LOL!

I hope this helps. Please let me know.

Warm regards,
Dan Yager

Hello Dan,

It's been sometime since I have been on. I joined QBA and was hopeing that you or someone may have the above link to the list of builders.

I am looking to get ahold of Sam Hoskins, I read his site and noticed that he lives or did in Ill. I have to pass within only miles of the area on the way to pick my Q2 up. I was thinking maybe if he had the time and didn't mind of course, he could look at my plane for a few min. and give me some pointers or opinions on somethings to do to mine.

Anyway, any help on getting in touch with him would be great!

Thanks again,
Craig

Hey Craig,
I fixed the link above so that it points to the new builder list.

Sam, you're too funny! :P

Hopefully I'll get a chance to see you this weekend at Beatrice!

Cheers,

Quickheads,

New Q2 owner here. I'm looking for anyone near me in Delaware or the surrounding states to "Talk Quickie" with. I have accessed the owner's list in the above link but haven't cracked the code on how to see where everyone resides (other than clicking on each member of the list individually).
Thanks in advance for the input,
Brad
