Shop/Hanger light
When I am visiting other airports I like to poke my head into other peoples hangers to see what interesting things others have come up with that might be useful to me. While I was attending the Livermore CA Tandem Wing Fly-in this summer, I saw a light that would be handy around my hanger. I snapped the photo below of it.
The stand looked similar to a coat tree in construction. Simply a flat vertical board with some feet to keep it upright. Mounted low on the vertical board was a power strip and above it was a standard four foot flourescent light fixture. The stand can be placed near your work and any needed tools can be plugged into the power strip. My hanger will have one soon!
