Q-talk 115 - Blog, Blog, Blog!

Happy New Year everyone!

After reading Sam Hoskin's article about blogging (after of course drooling over his plane and cool BLOG online), I decided that since I do web design for a living, perhaps I should contribute to the group that's helped me get off my butt and get working on my plane.

I bought the domain name www.quickheads.com and I programmed a blog using an open source application. (Yes I'm a dork.) I have plenty of webspace that I've already paid for, so if you're interested in setting up a blog about your Q, I would be happy to help you out and host it for you. I have a sign up form on the homepage, so if you're interested, go there and sign up.

I also started my own blog at: http://www.quickheads.com/danyager

I was thinking that quickheads.com could be a collection of Q-bird blogs all located in one place for easy searching. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Also if you'd like to move your existing blog over to quickheads, I can probably figure that out using your RSS feed. (Did I mention I was a dork?) I hope you like it, and I'll try to make myself available for technical support as much as possible. You can e-mail me at:

(Or you can just flame me here on the Q-list. Ha Ha!) Good luck everyone, and Happy New Year! You can consider this a belated Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanza present!

Cheers, Dan Yager West Pittston PA

Thanks for the effort Dan! Blogs are a great place to put your pictures and your thoughts. It is essentially an on-line scrapbook. When you are ready to have the FAA out to inspect your project, you can have them see your blog first. It is another resource for other builders as well.
