This is a warm invitation to attend the fourth annual tandem wing fly-in at Mattoon, Illinois. Friday. June 27 - Sunday. June 29. Coles County Airport (MTO) has two wide and long runways (29-11 and 24-06) and for those who fly the older ty pe of aircraft, ihere is a grass strip (36-18). Use right hand pattern for 11 and 6. This is a non-controlled field and Unicom is 122.7 and AWOS is broadcasted on the VOR 109.4.
The airport has a full sen ice FBO. Camping w ill be allowed on the grounds or a sleeping bag could be used inside the offices of the building w here our aircraft will be hangared. For those of you w ho would prefer to sleep in a real bed. a group of hotels is located one mile west of the airport on state highway 16 and 1 57.

Transportation will be provided to and from the hotels for those w ho fly in. Although the core of the event w ill be on Saturday, plan to fly or drive in on Friday afternoon for extra visiting time.
