hi I have a q2 with fittings for what I was told where winglets are mounted on the tail But I can't find it in the plans anyone have any info on this

hi try looking up tee tail on the quickie files or the archives for quickie news letters in this site to see if the info is there. Keith

Hey Q2,
The T-tail was an attempt by QAC to fix the ground handling problem with an aerodynamic "add-on." Ultimately it didn't fix the ground handling, but it did succeed in adding drag.
In 1996 the correct fix for the ground handling problem was the "Jim-Bob six pack" including especially, the "David Gall wheel alignment" and the "Aileron Reflexor."
So my two cents is that you probably shouldn't go down the "T-tail" road. (Take that for what it's worth though. . . maybe less than two cents.)
