comm antenna inside of aft fuselage?

Will a comm antenna work well if placed inside the tailcone as height wise it has room. I haven't seen photos of Q2 with outside antenna or that I could identify.

Hi the stock antenna which is two metallic strips bonded into the fuse and tail is easy to fit and provides good reception, I have just installed the same kit in my SD1 minisport, the kit is available from Aircraft and spruce for very little cost, hope this is helpful,
