Q1_Aircraft: Q1

Looks like this is a new group and that the first messages have been
lost. I wish to know if a Q1 has been built and flown under FAR 103.
If so what was the performance and what engine was used?

Hi George,

Even though the Quickie should weigh less than 254# it can not meet
the other requirements of stall speed , max speed and still fly
safely. No it can not meet the Far 103 requirements.
The 18-22hp Onan engine is the only one approved for the Quickie by
the designer.
