Above is a sample video that some in the "Quickie Community" may have seen or heard about. The quality of the picture is absolutely awful, and the copy I digitized was probably from a 7th or 8th generation VHS dub!
I happened upon this video when I was seeking out the purchase of the plane that is currently in my garage. Bob Moelhencamp owned the plane originally, and ended up selling it to Tom Caya on eBay. I kept in touch with both Tom and Bob via e-mail. I eventually bought the plane from Tom, and was allowed to borrow Bob's copy of the VHS tape.
Now let me just reiterate, the music is cheesy, the lighting is terrible, the narration includes coughing and hacking, however the content is amazing! This 4+ hour video, takes you through the complete construction of a Q2 and even shows some modifications you can make, and/or errors to avoid.
This is my first post in this section of the website, and if this test post works well, I will continue to post short segments of the video, until all 4+ hours are included here for your enjoyment and learning. By the way, the reason I called this "The Green Video" is that halfway through the filming, the camera broke resulting in images that turned bright green! I think it just ads to the overall lack of production quality!
