Q2 3D Model Update

For anyone interested. I have updated the fuselage shape on the 3D model. I also have created the foam core shape for the fuselage.

In order to do this I had to shift around a few parts of the model. I had to move the bulkhead aft of the canopy upward by an inch and scaled its height by a factor of 1:1 this filled out the curvature shown in the plans section to look more appropriate. I also moved the tail end cap down by 1"

Can anyone offer any feedback on this model?

Here is the initial model of the foam core that was probably supplied as a kit component. I am working to revise it further.

Ok so here is the near final exterior model of the Q-200. I have matched it to the plans and the plan view provided in the assembly plans manual. The entire fuselage should now be accurate to 1/32" if not better. If anyone has any feedback please let me know.

Here is an update of the 3D model. I have fixed yet more surface and geometry errors. The windshield has also been added however is not finalized.

I am in the process of tracing the airfoils and tooling for attaching them to the fuselage.

Hopefully by next week the wings will be on with control surface.
