In this video, I manage to apply 2 more layers of UNI cloth to the right longeron! I get much faster at this later I promise. Only 1-UNI and 1 more BID layer to go! But who's counting?
(Actually, I better be counting!)
So stay tuned! As always I invite your feedback below, or in the forums!
Hey, good to see the progress. I have a question as for between layers. Are you preping the surface between layers or are you glassing all these layers all at once? I didn't see any mention of it. It could just be the time lapsed.

- Thanks for the question. . .
Thanks for the question Perez, and I apologize for not responding sooner. I have been working on updates for the site so that I can take over as the editor for the Quickie Builders Association in 2010.
At any rate, although I'm only showing about an hour at a time each week here on the site, I may actually be out in the garage working for 4 or 5 hours at a time. Therefore, I haven't needed to really do much prep between layers since the epoxy is still wet when I apply the next. Hope this makes sense.
However, If I leave the project over night before I can finish a layup, I would either apply Peel Ply before I left, or I would need to sand the surface and clean it before applying the next layer.
I hope this answers your question. Please let me know. I appreciate the feedback and hope this finds you well.
