Video: Prep Main Wing Cores Print
Written by Dan Yager

Here the Main Wing Foam Cores have been joined per the plans, on the jigging table.  The builder is preparing the cores for their first layer of fiberglass.  They have installed the Main Wing Seatbelt attach bolt prior to glassing, to ensure a proper bond.  In addition, thay have filed a point onto the end of the bolt and intend to push the plies of glass over the bolt.  This prevents the builder from having to tap threads into the seatbelt attach plate after the wing has been fully glassed.  The narrator also discusses "roughening" the plate with a hacksaw blade to ensure a proper bond.

This looks like a great idea to me. Cool
